HSC COVID-19 Guidelines & Protocol

HSC will follow CDC Coronavirus Considerations for Youth Sports, PA Department of Health and SAY Soccer Return to Play.

The club will adhere to these guidelines throughout the season as closely as possible.

All HSC coaches will be updated on these guidelines at the beginning of the season, and throughout the season as needed.

Players do not need to wear masks while playing soccer. It is optional.

The HSC will follow social distancing guidelines of 6 feet apart. Spectators will be asked to stay away from the field or stay in their car until the end of practice. The players will be socially distanced from all spectators. Players will be given designated areas to put their own equipment and water.

Each team will use their own set of balls.

There will be no high fives, fist bumps, etc before, during, or after play. Each player must have his or her own drinks. Group or team coolers are prohibited. There will be hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes given to each coach to be utilized as necessary during the season.

Players will be banned from play if they exhibit any symptoms of illness. Parents are held responsible to check their player’s temperature prior to play. If your child, does not feel well, keep them home. If any player has a temperature (100.4 or above), they will be sent home immediately and not allowed participation.

All players and volunteers will sign the Covid - SAY Soccer waiver prior to play for the season.Attached is the SAYSoccer Return to Play Next Step.
